Religio: Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary traces the word back to an old Latin word religio meaning “taboo, restraint.” A deeper study discovers the word comes from the two words re and ligare. Re is a prefix meaning “return,” and ligare means “to bind;” in other words, “return to bondage.”

All those that suffer and committ suicide because of their descision to engage in homosexuality.

Through faith in Christ we have our sins cancelled, and we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit in order to turn away from evil and repent of our sins. There are many sins and homosexuality is but one of them. ALL sins need to be repented of.

It seems the ‘gay lobby’ as you like to label us, or orthodox bible believing Christians as I believe we are, bother you just a little but Hamish. Is your heterosexuality being challenged by all this talk of gays? Or your outdated hateful bigotry you pass off as Christianity but which is little more than 16th century puratinism and Idolatry at that…? As for your slight on Islam… it is offensive to try and compare them to such a heretical group as the bretheren… Islam has more credibility than the Bretheren.

It seems the gay lobby will not rest until being gay is perceived as being at least “normal” as being hetero. In terms of “rights” and generally enforcing a lack of differentiation in society.

I for one am just sick of this. If people want to be gay, then that’s entirely their prerogative. More generally, however people want to use their sexuality, that’s up to them – and they can also reap the consequences (because there are – make no mistake about this).

But if an organisation has a belief that prevents them from doing business with another organisation, then where are the rights of the first organisation to decline? Oh that’s right, they don’t have any rights. Which is wrong.

Maybe the gay group should have asked a Muslim group to use their property….

Rubbish. Just because bigotry and hate lost out in the eyes of the law, you and your mob automatically cry foul of the law. Shame on you.
